multiCAM debuts remote guest manager, TSL updates monitoring offerings, and more

TVBEurope rounds up the latest products and solutions news from multiCAM Systems, TSL Products and TAG Video Systems

MultiCAM Systems has unveiled a new all-in-one package comprising a hardware-based video controller, call-in manager, CG and streaming engine.

AIRBRIDGE+ enables users to broadcast four live guests simultaneously while up to 12 guests can be on the waiting list.

Guests are sent a link to connect which they can use on their smartphone, tablet or computer.

According to the company, it is the only professional video calling solution that lets users control the video settings (scale, position, picture) of remote guests; automate mix-minus audio of all participants; adjust audio delay for each guest’s connection; and send the video programme to guests.

TSL updates range of monitoring offerings

TSL Products has unveiled updates to its audio monitoring solutions, including enhancements for its SAM-Q platform, MPA1 and PAM-IP products.

The company also announced that all of its Dante-enabled audio monitors now support Dante Domain Manager.

“TSL continues to focus on developing audio monitoring solutions that provide integration opportunities with third-party control solutions, as well as incorporating new platforms that take audio monitoring to the next level,” said TSL Products audio product manager Stephen Brownsill.

Its SAM-Q-SDI now includes new features like audio phase metering and loudness monitoring. The SAM-Q loudness license allows loudness data to be logged and monitored via an Ethernet network, making possible audio analysis while maintaining simplicity of operation, the company said.

TAG Video Systems adds adaptive monitoring feature

TAG Video Systems has added an Adaptive Monitoring feature to its MCM-9000 all-IP, all-software platform.

According to TAG, Adaptive Monitoring gives operators greater agility in optimising high-density probing and monitoring by enabling dynamic, automated, on-the-fly allocation of monitoring resources on a per-input-stream basis.

TAG’s MCM-9000 provides probing and monitoring for all transmission layers from the SMPTE ST 2110/2022-6 uncompressed to MPEG-TS compressed and OTT streams all the way down to the encoded video content and its quality.

The platform offers more than 350 probing features and supports all major industry standards.
