LucidLink has announced the integration of MomentsLab MXT-2 multimodal AI engine.
With AI trained on over 1.5 billion images and new features such as Custom Moments and Custom Insights, the MomentsLab MXT-2 provides time-coded natural language footage descriptions enabling teams to identify scenes, classify theme and generate content from editorial video.
The latest LucidLink platform features a mobile app for iOS and Android, web-based file browsing, storage management with dynamic tiering and integration with AWS S3, enabling teams to access large media files securely from any location without the need for file syncing or downloads.

The integration aims to leverage MXT2’s AI capabilities with LucidLink’s real-time collaboration provision to enable users to rapidly access live footage, identify key movements and produce engaging content for worldwide audiences. Global media brand, Brut, will deploy the technology to drive its live production workflows at the 78th Cannes Film Festival this month.
“With MXT-2, we’re pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for video teams,” said Philippe Petitpont, CEO and co-founder of Moments Lab. “By further enhancing our partnership with LucidLink, we’re equipping organisations like Brut with the tools to create and deliver even faster, smarter stories at scale, especially in the fast-paced environment of Cannes.”
Richard Yu, chief product officer at LucidLink, added, “LucidLink is committed to enabling real-time global collaboration for creative professionals. We’re excited to see our next-gen product powering live production workflows at Cannes alongside Moments Lab’s AI. This is a game-changer for creators and producers under tight deadlines.”
