This year’s IBC will see MOG debut a capability in its mxfSPEEDRAIL product line: Speech Recognition. Available for all mxfSPEEDRAIL models, the feature enables the automatic extraction of audio features during the ingest process, performing speech to text conversion and providing a tagging file aligned with the clip timecode. Visitors to MOG’s stand will be able to experience the mxfSPEEDRAIL Xpress, a mix and match solution that comprises all the mxfSPEEDRAIL Centralized Ingest Solution capabilities.
The product aims to simplify logging and searching, by automatically finding the timecode when a certain word is said. Closed captioning and subtitling are also streamlined, as the subtitling texts are immediately available for revision. New improvements to mxfSPEEDRAIL Centralized Ingest Solution, including support for JVC and Canon input formats will also be on show at MOG’s booth.
First demonstrated at NAB earlier this year, Load Balancing is also now available and is able to distribute the workload across multiple ingest systems, detecting network failures and automatically redistributing the ingest traffic to the remaining platforms.
MOG’s mxfSPEEDRAIL Xpress works as an ingest toolset that includes capture, playback, file conversion and transcoding, all in a single platform, 24 cm deep. Customers are now able to switch services according to their production environment.
The company has also collaborated with Axle to produce the new Gearstack: a compact solution that includes one axle Gear media management and transcode appliance, plus one or more MOG mxfSPEEDRAIL Xpress ingest appliances.
