The green shoots of recovery are well in evidence at Megahertz, with strong growth opportunities in its SI business for 2010 and significant projects coming in from around the globe.

The company has also announced that Greg Hoskin has completed the planned reorganisation of the its global systems integration business and is stepping down as managing director for a new challenge. While the search continues for Hoskin’s replacement, Frances Jarvis, a non-executive director with the company, will take on the mantle of managing director as an interim role.

“We would like to thank Greg for his leadership and his commitment to the growth and development of the Megahertz business. He has been instrumental in building a strong management team that is more customer-focused across every discipline,” said Stephen Pumple, CEO, AZCAR Technologies, Inc. “This team continues to drive our business forward in the international arena – and to support our entry into new fast growing markets, while driving cost reductions and improving operational and workflow efficiencies for our customers.”

Under the leadership of Robert Stopford, the sales team has continued to see strong business growth globally with projects underway for many of the international broadcasters and digital media companies including the BBC, ITN, SIS LIVE, e.tv in South Africa as well as Mahaa TV and the Times Group in India.

“The Megahertz management team has successfully responded to market demands quickly and effectively and have weathered some of the toughest economic and market conditions seen in recent history,” said Robert Stopford, sales director at Megahertz. “The implementation of our two-pronged business strategy has enabled us to position our business for growth by actively driving new opportunities while also addressing the refurbishment market.

“The latter has proved extremely successful in that it has given our customers options in tough times. Whether a phased approach to the refurbishment of their ageing vehicle fleet, or an upgrade to HD of their SD facilities – customers continue to see Megahertz as a company that understands their business, offers improved workflow efficiencies and a genuine return on investment.”
