The recent production of a major fashion series for UK television saw Eyeheight’s colour correctors in action. CC-2M systems were used throughout the programmes, which were broadcast live by dock10 at MediaCity, Manchester, for Channel 4 and online.

“Eyeheight colour correctors enable our production team to ensure consistent colour matching when switching between multiple camera sources or making significant changes to camera angle,” commented dock10 equipment allocator, Dave Mason. “They integrate into our system easily, have a very logical menu system and deliver high picture quality.”

The CC-2M colour corrector is an auto-sensing system designed to handle 525/625, 720 and 1080 line content. It allows independent realtime adjustment of red, green and blue component levels, master gain, lift, gamma and hue. A preview output provides a configurable split screen showing the processed and unprocessed image. Up to six CC-2M colour correction cards can be housed in a 1RU FB-9E chassis and operated from an FP-9C control panel with self-legending illuminated pushbuttons.
