Cyprus’ Lumiere TV (LTV) is to replace its legacy business management system with ForeTV, the end-to-end, integrated broadcast management system from MSA Focus.
Led by reddot consulting, a team of UK-based broadcast consultants, the implementation is part of a review of business technologies at the broadcaster.
According to David Shapiro, the lead consultant for reddot on the LTV project, it is ForeTV’s flexibility which was attractive. “Based on reddot’s understanding of the marketplace and through a comprehensive tender process, we agreed a short list with LTV,” he said. “ForeTV from MSA Focus was chosen because it was the best fit to their requirements.”
“I approached reddot consulting to manage the process of replacing our legacy broadcast management system to meet our requirements while remaining within our budget,” added Dimitris Panteli, IT Manager for LTV. “This led us to select ForeTV which is an excellent product that will align perfectly with our current and future needs. The first phase of the project starts at the beginning of October, when a team from MSA Focus and reddot consulting will be on site to manage the implementation. The system is scheduled to be installed and commissioned in May next year. Because ForeTV is Windows-based, it provides a comfortable and familiar user interface, thus minimising training times and ensuring that staff can concentrate on how ForeTV supports their role and become productive very quickly.
