Limecraft updates content delivery platform

Enhancements to its Delivery Workspace solution provide increased content delivery robustness and security

Limecraft has announced the latest update to its platform with enhancements to its supply chain management solution.

The upgrade aims to improve the content delivery process and communication flow between content suppliers and recipients, said the company. Additionally, changes to the subtitling fabric will enable users to adapt and modify subtitles for use across other distribution channels.

The release extends the number of subtitle formats, and the introduction of a new Automatic Speaker Colouring Mode intelligently manages how subtitle colours are applied to different speakers, added Limecraft.

Enhancements to its Delivery Workspace solution provide increased content delivery robustness and security, said the company, and a new Activity Feed displays an audit trail around individual content pieces, with a comments feature to provide context around key exchanges such as submit, approve, reject.

Maarten Verwaest, co-founder of Limecraft, said: “Looking further forward, a key area of focus for us is the further development of Media Intelligence, our media-centric take on AI. The next stage will see us applying video and audio content to our Media Intelligence engine and using the engine’s logic to return much more comprehensive and meaningful information. When it comes to the issue of metadata, we firmly believe that quality is far more important than quantity.”
