IBC2012: Richard Scott to go by bike

Richard Scott, head of global sales and service operations for Harris Broadcast Communications, is one of a team of 13 cyclists that will take part in the IBC2IBC charity cycle challenge.

Richard Scott, head of global sales and service operations for Harris Broadcast Communications, is one of a team of 13 cyclists that will take part in the IBC2IBC charity cycle challenge. Last year, the inaugural running of the event saw the team raise over $50,000 for the Vision Charity to support blind and partially sighted children and young people. This year, the team’s target is to surpass that amount. Over two days in the run up to IBC, the team will cycle from the IBC Offices in central London direct to the RAI Centre in Amsterdam – a distance of almost 300 miles. “I might need a rather large cushion to sit on at IBC, but it will all be worth it if we beat the target and raise a good sum for the VICTA and Vision Charities,” commented Scott. You can contribute to Richard’s sponsorship fund by visiting www.virginmoneygiving.com/RichardTScott www.broadcast.harris.com
