IABM Game-Changers to open at NAB

The International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers will present the IABM Game-Changers for the first time at the 2012 NAB Show. This new awards programme will recognise up to five products that are deemed by the judging panel to have the greatest potential to change the industry.

The IABM (International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers) will present the IABM Game-Changers for the first time at the 2012 NAB Show. This new awards programme will recognise up to five products that are deemed by the judging panel to have the greatest potential to change the industry. A panel of international, impartial experts, none of whom are IABM members, will review products and solutions during the first two days of the show, and awards will be presented the morning of Wednesday, 18 April, at the winners’ booths. “The broadcast industry that we know today has been shaped by a series of game-changing ideas and technologies, and the future of this industry likely will be defined by equally revolutionary products demonstrated at the NAB Show,” said IABM director general Peter White. “The IABM Game-Changers are designed to identify and honour such products while highlighting the ways in which they will drive our industry forward.” www.theiabm.org
