Harris Broadcast has hired Charlie Vogt, a technology veteran with 25 years of experience in the industry, as CEO. Vogt joins the company following nine years as president and CEO of GENBAND where he led company changes that encompassed six acquisitions, including Tekelec SSG, NextPoint Networks and Nortel’s VoIP Business. He succeeds Harris Morris, who was appointed president of Harris Broadcast when it was a subsidiary of Harris Corporation in 2010.
