Gravity Media partners with MAMA Youth Project

Company will contribute and commit resources to MAMA's training programme, from which it will recruit to fill relevant vacancies

Gravity Media is working with MAMA Youth Project, which works with 18 to 25-year-olds from underrepresented groups and prepares them for successful careers in TV and media.

The company will contribute and commit resources to MAMA’s training programme. As part of the collaboration, Gravity Media will also gain access to the Project’s pool of fully trained talent, from which it will recruit to fill relevant vacancies.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ed Tischler, managing director of Gravity Media in EMEA commented: “We’ve been consistently impressed with the work of the MAMA Youth Project team. We look forward to learning from their experience as advocates and allies for greater equality and inclusion in the broadcast media industry. From what we’ve seen so far, we’re also convinced that the project’s alumni will make excellent employees and ambassadors for the growing Gravity Media brand.”

Bob Clarke, founder and CEO of the MAMA Youth Project, added: “It’s well known that the ongoing misrepresentation and lack of representation of some backgrounds and ethnicities in the media has a negative effect on wider society. We’re on a mission to change this, and our industry partners, including Gravity Media, play a crucial role in helping us to do so. We hope our collaboration will continue for many years to come.”
