G&D presents KVM switching to the US

With its first appearance on the US market at the 2013 NAB Show, Guntermann & Drunck’s new KVM matrix switch, the ControlCenter-Digital, is the company’s latest example of modular design fulfilling a wide range of requirements for application environments.

With its first appearance on the US market at the 2013 NAB Show, Guntermann & Drunck’s new KVM matrix switch, the ControlCenter-Digital, is the company’s latest example of modular design fulfilling a wide range of requirements for application environments. From controller and switch cards over I/O cards up to power packs – the ControlCenter-Digital is fully modular. On top of this, all matrix ports can be used either as input or output ports. And if necessary, even the memory module storing the configuration data can be moved to a new controller card. Therefore the system provides a safe investment, which keeps up with all technical advancements. With G&D’s CrossDisplay-Switching function, the mouse acts as if on a virtual desktop and can be moved across the connected displays. Moving the cursor from the active to another display, the keyboard-mouse focus automatically switches to the connected computer, even when used with different operating systems. Users can create a multi-monitor console and can operate their computers with one keyboard and one mouse. The system can reach its full performance in combination with KVM extenders and KVM switches – all video sources are monitored and accessed from the same console, displaying images including full-HD resolutions. N4613
