Future pathways at IT Broadcast Workflow 2013

Once again TVB Europe, parent of The Workflow Files, is presenting its annual one-day conference, IT Broadcast Workflow 2013, this year on 9 July at Bafta in central London.

The pace of change is such that many European broadcasters are now looking at a second or even a third generation asset management system. Automated workflows, service-oriented architectures and interoperability for multiple delivery platforms are all driving innovation.

Once again TVB Europe, parent of The Workflow Files, is presenting its annual one-day conference, IT Broadcast Workflow 2013, this year on 9 July at Bafta in central London. This is the best opportunity for broadcasters, systems designers and content owners to get a clear idea of the state of the industry, through a programme of case studies looking in detail at how current challenges are being tackled.

Topics on the agenda include the development of interchange standards led by the Digital Production Partnership, discussions on cloud-based content management and exchange, and a look at collaborative production and delivery for major sports events. Broadcasters including RTÉ in Ireland, TFO in Canada and NRK in Norway will talk about current projects transforming their operational and commercial effectiveness.

Senior staff engaged in change management, operational efficiencies, multiple platform delivery and business process improvement will certainly find much of interest at IT Broadcast Workflow 2013. Full information, registration and details of hotel packages can be found at www.broadcastworkflow.com.

IT Broadcast Workflow 2013 is 9 July, in the well-equipped theatre at Bafta, 195 Piccadilly, London.
