Silex Media has been made the prime contractor for the automation project at France 3 Corse ViaStella, the regional Corsican TV station.
The project is expected to be completed in the autumn and drives the local station France 3 Corse ViaStella and the France 3 Corse affiliate station, not to mention automating the dozen devices that are connected in a custom workflow. Silex Media will be responsible for project management, implementation, documentation and training. Implementation started in July.
Technical director Yves Le Bras is looking forward to a successful implementation. “We have chosen Silex Media because of our previous experience with the knowledgeable project team, their competitiveness and the way they were able to offer a tailored and tested solution that meets our specific requirements,” he said.
The automation system is provided by Aveco, whose Astra product is a proven, state-of-the-art and cost-effective system. Stephan K. Schindler, Silex Media’s CEO added: “By working together with trusted partners like Aveco and by carefully analysing the customer workflow, we can reduce cost and risk. Therefore I am confident it will be a smooth and successful project.”
