Fine Point buys eight from EVS

Leading broadcast technology provider EVS has sold eight XT2 HD system production and playout servers to dry hire broadcast television equipment specialist, Fine Point Broadcast.

Fine Point’s Chief Engineer Roger Wedlake commented: “We’ve had tremendous success so far with both the original standard def XT and now the HD XT2. The decision to double our rental stock of EVS XT2 units was not a difficult one as our OB and studio clients regularly demand the HD networkable server technology it offers. Its rugged and reliable design has proven itself and EVS are great people to work with, so we are delighted that our relationship with them goes from strength to strength.”

Based on its solid experience in digital live broadcast, EVS XT2 production server and its related software applications deliver the highest level of reliability and flexibility required in any broadcast production environment.
