Eyeheight is launching a dual-channel stereoscopic video legaliser, the LE-3D, and a stereoscopic 3D colour corrector, the CC-3D.
Video legalisers are a simple way of helping edited programmes pass broadcasters’ technical quality-assurance requirements. The LE-3D allows parameters for left and right video channels to be adjusted from a single operating panel to ensure compliance. User-adjustable settings include RGB, YUV or composite mode selection, clipping level, soft clipping knee, luma and chroma gain, black level, and hue rotation. Six user memories are available to store group settings. The unit has two HD-SDI inputs and outputs. Processing is to full 10-bit depth throughout.
The CC-3D stereoscopic 3D colour corrector is designed for use in broadcast production, post production and playout centres, and allows both channels of a 3D pair to be corrected under common single control.
The unit’s parameters include R, G, B and master gain and lift plus selectable master or individual R, G and B gamma control with overall luma, chroma gain, hue rotation and black level. It is capable of working at 1080i/50/59.94 or 1080p 23.976/24/25/29.97 HD.
Both products are on show at BVE.
