Production Resource Group (PRG) has provided details of investments in LED technology and a range of new hires.
PRG has acquired over 1500 square metres of LED video panels, more than quadrupling its stock of high-resolution 2&3mm LED video displays.
The company has also more than doubled the amount of Roe’s Black Marble BM4 LED flooring with glass finish it holds as rental stock and also added VISS NX7 matt flooring. Its existing stock of 4-5mm high-resolution LED displays has also been increased by 500 square metres.
Aiming to strengthen its TV and film services in the UK, PRG has bolstered its team with a series of hires, including the return of Ian Jones. Jones moved from PRG to Anna Valley in 2023, and returns to his former employer as head of video production. He is joined by several new colleagues including, Tim Oliver, Doug Hammond, Marek Kowalewski, Ant Govan and Ben Marles, who bring significant experience to the team.
Commenting on his return, Jones said: “I’m excited to be back at PRG UK and to have played a part in shaping the TV and Film team which now boasts diverse abilities across account and project management and technical roles. By investing in full-time staff and developing broadcast expertise internally, PRG UK is well positioned to grow our market share while maintaining the high-quality service and support we’re known for.”
