Harris Corporation has appointed Ian Collis director of business development for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for its Broadcast Communications Division. In his new role, Collis will lead the marketing and business development teams in EMEA to support the overall revenue growth for the company in this region.
With more than 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Collis brings to Harris a background in product management, strategic accounts management, marketing management and business development. Collis comes to Harris from Sony Professional Solutions Europe, where he was most recently vice president of marketing for the company’s professional business for EMEA. Prior to that, he was director for the broadcast business. He is a BSc honours graduate in electrical and electronic engineering from Portsmouth University.
