DVB World celebrated its 20th anniversary last September, and this March the conference and exhibition will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel Prague, in the Czech Republic. DVB World is the biggest annual gathering dedicated to DVB standards, services and technology.
The event represents both DVB member companies and non-members, attracting around 200 delegates from across the world. A conference programme will feature sessions on the latest developments and DVB-related topics, and delegates will also have the opportunity for networking at the exhibition, during breaks, delegate lunches, evening events and dinner.
Full conference programme details will be announced in the coming weeks, with topics to include technology fundamentals, spectrum shifts, media consumption, public and private broadcaster strategies, Czech TV, DVB in Space, content discovery, terrestrial TV technologies and strategies across the world, white spaces, new satellite technologies and services, CI Plus, UHDTV and HEVC.
DVB World 2013 takes place from 10 to 12 March, and registration via the DVB World website opens soon.
