Broadcast production and technology event BVE North 2013 has opened its doors this morning at the Manchester Central Complex. Pre-registration figures promise a big crowd over the two-day event.

“We’re delighted to report that our current pre-registration figures are in excess of our 2012 numbers, and are still increasing,” said James Rowley-Ashwood, event director, BVE North. “Visitors to BVE North have a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the production, broadcast and technology spheres about key topics, both strategic and practical. We also have over 100 exhibitors on the show floor, offering visitors the chance to get immersed in the very latest technology, some of which is making its European debut.”

BVE North attracts over 100 industry-leading exhibitors including JVC, Cooke Optics, Sennheiser, Timeline TV, and Presteigne Charter. ARRI will present a camera masterclass, and the Adobe Theatre will offer tips and information on a range of professional Adobe products and services, including its Creative Cloud.

Visitors can also benefit from the two-day seminar programme, with sessions given by leaders from the broadcast and content creation industry. The event provides an opportunity to network with industry professionals, not only during the day but at fringe events that will take place around Manchester.

BVE North opened at 09:30 on 12 November, running until 18:00. Doors open on 13 November at 09:30 with the show closing at 16:30. Registration can be completed on the BVE north website.
