Disney’s streaming service, which launched in November 2019, has earned 71 nominations at the 2021 Emmy Awards.
Overall, the combination of HBO and HBO Max lead the nominations for the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards with 130 nods, followed closely by Netflix with 129.
The Crown and The Mandalorian topped the list of programmes with the most nominees, scoring 24 each. They were followed by WandaVision with 23, and The Handmaid’s Tale and Saturday Night Live with 21 each.
