Broadcast systems integrator TVC has delivered its latest rack-ready one side expandable OB van to Croatel built on Volvo FH 420 HP 6X2 rigid chassis. Croatel now owns three HD OB vans used for the HD production of UEFA Champions League and Europa Football League.
The new van is equipped with 20 Grass Valley LDK 8000 Elite cameras, Grass Valley Kerrera video mixer 3 M/E, Studer Vista 5 M3 audio mixer, EVS system XT 3, Miranda multiviewer system with crossconverter cards and Sony BVM PVM series monitors.
The coach features motorised drums for triax or fibre cable; a separate isolated room for audio consoles and operators; a production area; and slow motion and engineering areas. It includes hydraulic jacks, redundant air conditioning systems, two double power feeds, and UPS for 20 minute operation.
