Canal+’s Lesoil to present case study at ITBW

Charles Lesoil, manager of Digital and IT infrastructure, Broadcast Engineering at CANAL+, will be delivering a case study at this year’s IT Broadcast Workflow conference. The event returns to BAFTA on 9 July and features a full programme of case studies from industry experts. Lesoil will head a study entitled ‘Content Exchange and Catchup TV platform’, sponsored by Telestream.

Lesoil is responsible for the design, specification and delivery of all technical systems involved in producing, editing, enriching and delivering content to non-linear distribution platforms, including IPTV and OTT.

Lesoil’s experience in the broadcast industry began with IT, with three years of consultancy before positions with Radio France International, and France 24 News Channel. He joined CANAL+ Group in 2011. His knowledge of IT has allowed him to work with CANAL+ and utilise tools such as virtualisation, Web Services and APIs or State-Of-The-Art storage technologies.

More details of Lesoil’s case study, and others at ITBW can be found online. The conference is dedicated to change management, greater operational efficiency, multiple platform delivery and business process management improvement in television broadcasting.

Delegate places are open for booking, and tickets for ITBW can be booked online.
