The Broadcast Engineering Museum, which is home to the most important collection of radio and television broadcast technology in Europe, has confirmed its open days for 2026.
The Museum, located at Hemswell Cliff in Lincolnshire, will welcome visitors on 5th April (Easter Sunday), 3rd May, 7th June, 5th July, 2nd August (including a British Vintage Wireless Society swapmeet), 4th October and 1st. November.
It will also open for Heritage Open Days on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September.
The Easter opening will include a display of pirate radio memorabilia from Chris Dannatt’s Flashback ‘67 Exhibition.
Visitors will also be able to see the Museum’s 1968 vintage Southern OB truck, which will be shown working with its cameras in Studio 1, as well as demonstrations of football results on a teleprinter and of its RCA quadruplex 2” VTR.
