Berliner Synchron, the leading dubbing studio in Germany, has chosen the Signiant Content Point solution to exchange files with its clients around the world. The workflow is at the core of a new, value-added service to bring efficiencies to the dubbing process.
The requirement was to exchange content files with producers and distributors as quickly and securely as possible, to shorten timescales and reduce the inherent risk and delays of shipping physical film. In the first phase of the project Berliner Synchron is using Signiant Content Point to create secure, managed connections with its clients over its WAN.
Using the Signiant Acceleration Protocol, Content Point enables fast, reliable and secure movement of files, giving Berliner Synchron complete control over the transactions and providing tools for monitoring, tracking and reporting. The second phase of the project will add Signiant Content Distribution Management to complete automate the workflows and connect with distributor companies as well as sub-contractors.
