Beeline TV’s playout centre driven by Snell routers

“When Beeline TV chose V-LUX for the upgrade of its national IPTV playout centre, we were committed to sourcing state-of-the-art systems to meet our client’s exacting requirements for seamless signal routing as well as quick and discrete redundant connections to IPTV backup services,” said Anton Rakutin, senior project manager at V-LUX. “The Snell Sirius and Halo routers have provided the ideal solution, offering the perfect mix of high redundancy and broadcast-quality output in flexible and extremely easy-to-use systems.”

In Beeline TV’s new playout centre, the Snell Sirius and Halo routers provide signal routing for the service’s entire linear and on-demand TV lineup. The Halo system (pictured), provides a solution for HD, SDI, and ASI switching, and the Sirius routers offer automatic conversion of any input to any output in both analogue and digital formats.
