Avid is collaborating with leading creative editing course, Inside The Edit.
The highly specialised online e-learning training program focuses on the art of professional editing.
The move gives the Avid community access to a wealth of exclusive tutorials centered around Avid’s media creation tools and workflow solutions.
Inside The Edit offers an extensive package of training materials, including more than 35 hours of raw footage from a primetime television show as well as 2,000 music tracks from Universal Production Music, which can be used copyright free for show reels, Vimeo, and YouTube channels.
Paddy Bird developed the self-paced e-learning program after 20 years editing some of the UK’s most popular TV shows. Many of the industry’s biggest broadcasters and media companies — including Sky, Discovery, Viacom, Vice, AMC and The Guardian — have used Inside The Edit to provide training for their in-house editors.
