ARRI has announced its new SkyPanel S60 Pro
The latest addition to ARRI’s SkyPanel range, S60 Pro features 4 LED zones enabling improved pixel control, colour accuracy and optimised light distribution. Its RGBW LED light engine includes a range of colours, aiming to ensure true colour illumination. The S60 also has enhanced low dimming performance, allowing users to achieve flicker-free dimming at lower levels, said the company.
Developed by ARRI, a digital twin replica of the luminaire in Unreal Engine provides customisation and control throughout the production chain. Allowing operators to synchronise real-world and virtual camera and lighting systems for live collaboration, the digital twin aims to streamline workflows in pre-production, on set and in post-production.
CloudIO software provides users with streamlined diagnostics, remote assistance and comprehensive service, said the company.
Compatible with S60-C front and yoke accessories, SkyPanel S60 Pro retains its predecessor’s size and weight while featuring an integrated power supply and improved handles and control panel positioning. The solution can be integrated into existing workflows and setups with built-in CRMX and Bluetooth for app-based control, such as the ARRI LiCo app, or use 5-Pin DMX in and out for traditional control, and Ethernet in and out for newer studio installs.
