At NAB 2014 AmberFin will unveil version 10 of its iCR software. The new version will include support for new codecs and wrappers, new enterprise class-features, a new option for 2:3 adaptive cadence correction and enhancements to UQC, AmberFin’s Unified Quality Control platform.

“Modern working methods and commercial pressures increase the likelihood of broken mixed-cadence material appearing in file-based workflows. With our new industry leading cadence correction option for iCR, we have developed a pure software solution that’s fast and allows users to get back to the 24p original for internet, international and digital workflows without any cadence correction artefacts,” said Bruce Devlin AmberFin’s CTO.

Designed to further facilitate the digitisation and transformation of new and archived content in modern file-based workflows, iCR version 10 will feature more robust, resilient and enterprise-ready transcoding, more wrappers for broadcast workflows (QT ref), more codecs for streaming workflows (webM) and archive conversion workflows (SStP).

As part of the AmberFin Academy, visitors to the AmberFin booth will also be able to attend a series of live educational presentations.
