Adobe has announced a number of updates to Premiere Pro, including a new AI-powered media intelligence and search panel, and native caption translation in 17 languages.
The media intelligence and search panel (currently in beta) has been designed to help editors search for shots more easily.

Using media intelligence (currently in beta), editors can search for the type of clip needed, and it will automatically recognise objects, locations, camera angles or metadata like shoot date or camera type, said Abobe.
The company has also added improved caching and HDR support in After Effects.
Frame.io has also introduced support for Camera to Cloud (C2C) support for Canon. This means content can be automatically uploaded and accessed from Canon EOS C80 and EOS C400 cameras in Frame.io, accelerating video workflows.
“We’re passionate about empowering filmmakers to tell their stories and realise their creative vision,” said Ashley Still, SVP and general manager, Adobe Creative Cloud. “These innovations will bring time savings and career support so they can focus on inspiring and captivating audiences worldwide.”
