3zero2, a member of Euro Media Group, has invested in 26 Vibox systems from Simplylive for its remote production operation centre in Milan.
The company delivers remote production for over 1,700 events per year. This summer 3zero2 upgraded its production and streaming facility to accommodate 1080i/50 production.
Camera streams are now sent remotely to Milan using 4G and IP contribution technology H264/H265/JPEG2000. Operators receive the video with audio from the field, then deliver replays, highlights, streaming and archive services.
“As we had to upgrade our current technology to produce in 1080i, we decide to move to the Simplylive Vibox solution as it offers a more flexible and powerful solution, both technically and operationally,” said 3zero2 CTO Luciano Consigli.
