Proving 4K TV’s expected wide appeal, Omnitek’s customer base for its Ultra 4K Tool Box encompasses users across the spectrum of video infrastructure.
Orders for the company’s UHD Test and Measurement device and the new 12G-SDI option come from manufacturers – of switchers, cameras, displays, RF links, compression equipment, converters etc., – but also from broadcasters, OBs, telecoms, AV and events, device and component makers. As with 3G-SDI, systems and operations are expected to follow as UHD deployment spreads.
