ProConsultant Informatique has integrated Voxygen technology into its LOUISE broadcast management system. The solution will be introduced at NAB 2016 as a preview, and will then be made available to the market within the BMS LOUISE and including dedicated professional services.
The BMS solution LOUISE is designed as an information system enabling the implementation and optimisation of the media business processes, establishing seamless workflows from the content acquisition and rights management up to the content distribution, whether in a linear or digital environment.
Based on a modular architecture and a centralised and dynamic management of media, as well as metadata (technical, operational and business content related), LOUISE provides a flexible range of modules and functionalities, supported by a comprehensive tasks manager to enable automatic workflows.
Under pressures to increase content exposure via multi-platform and multi-territory distribution, as well as the legal pressure from public regulations, the volume of content requiring immediate subtitling is booming. PCI has decided to tackle media content providers’ increasing subtitling cost burden and provide an automated solution.
ProConsultant Informatique has selected Voxygen, a start-up dedicated to the development of scalable and multi-expressive Speech Synthesis, Speech Recognition and Speaker Identification technologies. Based on Deep Neural Networks, the Voxygen speech recognition engine is real time, scalable from small to large vocabularies, and provides a range of segmentation, classification, and speaker identification functionalities.
“We are very happy to introduce this new module, which makes full sense and brings immediate ROI to our customers. The LOUISE BMS is the ideal backbone solution to integrate and empower the Voxygen technology, and offer fully automated subtitling workflows, thus drastically reducing cost and significantly improving our customers’ productivity. This is even more obvious in the digital environment of course,” commented Hervé Obed (pictured), PCI CEO and founder.
“Furthermore, besides subtitling, the Voxygen technology integration within the LOUISE BMS is opening up enormous automation opportunities using Speech to Text and Text to Speech capabilities”.
ProConsultant Informatique is enriching the LOUISE ecosystem. More than 30 solutions and technologies, in very various areas and from various partners, are already integrated via media-specific APIs.
