ANNOVA offers OpenMedia highlights for mobility and journalistic collaboration

ANNOVA will present new highlights in OpenMedia for mobility and journalistic collaboration including trendsetting features for news research in the cloud.

ANNOVA will present new highlights in OpenMedia for mobility and journalistic collaboration including trendsetting features for news research in the cloud and its brand new web-based integration platform at this year’s NAB.

The main spotlight is on mobility and journalistic collaboration based on the new release OpenMedia 4.2, the company’s flagship Newsroom Computer System.

Key to this is the fully integrated and platform independent story-centric workflow. Advanced event- and topic planning for editorial collaboration within a news organisation will be enriched by the new trendsetting Research and Content gathering tool x-News, especially powered and integrated for OpenMedia. Generic searches across all connected applications and platforms including eg. news agencies, Twitter, video and picture databases and production environments are directly available in the OpenMedia StoryBin.

The next level of mobility inside a news driven workflow will be shown with OpenMedia ANYPLACE. This browser-based OpenMedia Client works platform and device independent and provides a full feature set of OpenMedia including assignments, editorial collaboration and rundown management. All content is directly synchronised with the OpenMedia Server.

Together with plantri, ANNOVA’s partner company for individual web based broadcasting solutions, the company will present the benefits of its Broadcast Integration Platform (BIS) in conjunction with other applications related to the news production workflow. The new FanGate allows OpenMedia customers to use social media as a hub for their audiences. In addition, ANNOVA will launch the new TrailerScheduler for radio customers using OpenMedia. The integration allows comfortable long-term trailer disposition. The trailers can be enriched by multimedia information, such as images, links, audio or video clips which are intended for publication on the internet as well as social media platforms.
