Mediagenix powers business integration across France Télévisions’ portfolio

Processes for France Télévisions were unified across AWS cloud hosting, enabling integration across workflows, rights management and media asset management

Mediagenix has announced its platform has been selected by France Télévisions.

Aiming to unify processes and streamline workflows, the French public service broadcaster has deployed the Mediagenix Platform (formerly WHATS’ON) to enable flexibility in channel programming and scheduling. Streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiencies with the scalability to evolve with the broadcaster’s needs, the data-driven content supply chain integration provides touchless operations and management by exception, driving cross-platform audience engagement, said the company.

The transition from multiple broadcast management systems to a single media business management solution is being delivered in two stages. Processes for France Télévisions were unified across AWS cloud hosting, enabling integration across workflows, rights management and media asset management (MAM). Phase one was completed at the end of 2023, encompassing all the broadcaster’s national channels.

Phase two is now underway, aiming to integrate 24 domestic regional France 3 antennas and nine overseas stations into the Mediagenix platform over the next two years.
