Encompass Digital Media has unveiled a newly expanded master control room (MCR) at its facility in Riga, Latvia, which works with broadcasters in Europe, Asia and the US.
The facility now handles over 1,500 hours of live sports content per month and manages 277 channels for 22 customers worldwide.
It recently supported the simultaneous delivery of all 18 UEFA Champions League matches on a single match day for TV3 in the Baltics, generating approximately 43,000 hours of live streaming activity.
Alongside live operations, the facility also delivers reactive channel services as well as playout capabilities.
