Broadcasting Center Europe expands footprint

The BCE Hungary subsidiary will initially focus on broadcast operations, with a progressive expansion of the company's portfolio of activities across the region

Media services provider Broadcasting Center Europe has expanded into Hungary with the launch of a new subsidiary in Budapest.

The Hungarian team will support RTL Hungary with playout and ingest operations, contributing to day-to-day broadcast continuity, operational monitoring, and coordination with BCE’s wider broadcast services.

The BCE Hungary subsidiary will initially focus on broadcast operations, with a progressive expansion of BCE’s portfolio of activities across the region, said the company.

BCE Hungary expands the company’s European footprint, which already includes its headquarters in Luxembourg and subsidiaries in France, Germany and Belgium as well as “activities” in the UK.

“This expansion supports the evolution of our Media operating model, enabling us to extend our services to existing clients and support future developments in the CEE and DACH region within our Media Managed Services framework,” said Frédéric Fiévez, COO of Broadcasting Center Europe.
