OpenDrives has officially launched its cloud-native data services platform.
Following a soft launch in September, OpenDrives has debuted its Astraeus platform, aiming to redefine the company by widening its offer from media and entertainment data storage to include provision of data services across enterprises.
Designed around Kubernetes-based, cluster-first architecture, Astraeus enables unification, orchestration and management of data and applications across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. Combining cloud flexibility with on-premises performance and control, the platform aims to provide organisations with a unified view of all data regardless of location, enhancing security and governance while reducing data sprawl and boosting productivity.
Speaking at an Astraeus launch event in Los Angeles, OpenDrives COO, Trevor Morgan, said, “Astraeus is a platform built to evolve alongside our customers. It reflects our shared vision: simplify complex data workflows, free data from silos, and manage costs more reliably. Astraeus is our answer for helping organisations turn control of their data into a competitive advantage.”
Sean Lee, CEO at OpenDrives, added, “This isn’t just another product launch. Astraeus represents a fundamental redefinition of who we are as a company and what’s possible for our customers when they take control of their data.”
As part of the Astraeus rollout, OpenDrives is inviting organisations to join its Early Adopter Programme, becoming “lighthouse customers” and helping to shape the platform’s future development.
