Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) and Finland’s top local streaming service Elisa Viihde have joined forces to launch a new service in Finland.
Elisa Viihde Viaplay is due to launch on 30th June and will include local and Nordic content as well international content.
Viaplay is already the biggest Scandinavian streaming service and is now available all across the Nordic countries, having recently launched in Iceland.
NENT Group will be responsible for the service’s technology and analytics, while Elisa will handle sales, marketing and customer support. Both parties will continue to invest in content for the service.
