Livelink the favourite for RMG IP global video delivery

Cerberus Tech's IP-based video delivery aims to enable RMG to streamline global delivery of high-demand racing events

Cerberus Tech has announced that Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has leveraged its Livelink platform.

Aiming to streamline and simplify content distribution to its global network of broadcasters, RMG has expanded its use of Livelink to manage both 24/7 and occasional workflows.

Seb Vance, director of communications and international TV distribution at RMG, commented, “Normally, we only ever hear from our clients if things go wrong, so the silence since we started working with Cerberus Tech has been music to our ears. We like the Cerberus Tech team and their can-do attitude, and we’ve found they deliver value-for-money services and support with a minimum of fuss.”

The platform, which enables provisioning, orchestration and automation technology to support live video delivery, has allowed RMG to enhance its offering on high-demand race days, such as when the Dubai World Cup coincided with the Grand National in April. On the day, Livelink enabled RMG to distribute multiple feeds without the costs associated with satellite deployment, Cerberus handled configuration, onboarding and global IP delivery.

Chris Clarke, chief revenue officer and co-founder of Cerberus Tech, said, “RMG is a fantastic partner. Collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to delivering quality content to their audiences. Using Livelink to abstract away the complexity of protocols, monitoring, and destination management, RMG can simply send a feed and know it will arrive where it’s needed, on time and intact.”
