Golf league LIV Golf has launched its own global streaming service which is available to viewers in 180 global territories.
According to the company, the launch of the streaming service will take the competition to countries where it is yet to sign a linear broadcast deal. Currently, the competition only has deals in place in Europe with Golfchannel.cz in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
LIV Golf Plus is free to download for iOS, Android, Apple TV and FireTV. LIV Golf League broadcasts are also available on LIVGolfplus.com.
The technology behind the LIV Golf Plus streaming app is powered by ViewLift.
“The introduction of the LIV Golf Plus streaming app ensures fans around the world will receive direct access to live and on-demand coverage of our league’s groundbreaking launch,” said Will Staeger, LIV Golf chief media officer.
