LTN has announced an expansion of its collaboration with DAZN.
The sports entertainment platform is aiming to increase its coverage of live international football competitions to betting audiences and commercial partners across Germany. A range of LTN’s automated linear channel creation and playout solutions, enable DAZN to deliver a portfolio of 11 low latency live streaming channels to serve around 1,000 betting locations in the country, along with its distribution partner, Amazon Prime Video.
LTN’s scalable video transport solutions are providing DAZN with the flexibility to deliver a pop-up linear channel in support of its core linear channels, enabling increased coverage on high-concurrency matchdays via LTN’s fully managed, multicast global IP network. DAZN is able to bring up to eight concurrent matches to its distribution partners, said the company.

Utilising the LTNLift/LTN Schedule playout solution, DAZN automates the creation and payout of new digital linear channels, delivered at low latency to digital platform provider iGameMedia, for onward distribution to betting outlets across the country. In addition, the solution enables the streamer to manage commercial and residential rights agreements while delivering concurrent live feeds to Amazon Prime Video subscribers.
