AgileTV will develop and implement a TV-as-a-service platform for LIWEST as the telco looks to launch a new experience for new and existing customers.
AgileTV’s technical and commercial proposal was selected through a structured tender process, resulting in a five-year agreement, said the company.

The solution will support a range of features accessible via a fully integrated, user-friendly interface. The platform will include super aggregation capabilities, an open content system that allows for flexible integration of third-party platforms, and full regionalisation support.
“The collaboration with AgileTV marks an important step in the ongoing development of our television infrastructure,” said Dr Stefan Gintenreiter, managing director of LIWEST. “By integrating Agile TV’s advanced technology, we can accelerate innovation and provide our customers with a state-of-the-art, future-ready TV experience.”
Koldo Unanue, CEO of AgileTV, added: “We are strengthening our presence in the DACH market with the TV service launch alongside our partner LIWEST. It proves the competitiveness and scalability of the AgileTV operating model and allows us to continue to grow and bring high-quality TV experiences to new audiences around the globe.”
