Prime Video will be the first streaming service to offer HDR10+ Advanced on supported titles globally.
The standard includes two new capabilities:
Enhanced Overall Brightness uses extended statistical metadata to make fuller use of premium TV brightness capabilities, delivering more precise HDR across the full tonal range. Additionally, AI-driven tone mapping preserves shadow detail in darker scenes and delivers the heightened brightness that sports and action content demands.
Meanwhile, Intelligent Motion Smoothing utilises scene-by-scene metadata to allow compatible displays to dynamically adjust motion processing—preserving the cinematic feel of film content while also delivering smooth motion for sport and action.

The standard will first be available on Samsung’s 2026 TV lineup, beginning this month.
