OOONA has announced ITV has deployed its solutions across the broadcaster’s access services operations.
ITV has adopted the OOONA Integrated platform as part of a wider upgrade to its access and localisation infrastructure, aiming to enhance immersive experiences for its global audience and boost productivity.
Providing a secure environment for managing translation and accessibility services, OOONA Integrated provides the ITV team with collaboration features including split tasks, integrated watch-folders, automated quality checks and integration with an expanding range of third-party AI tools, said the company. Real-time workflow monitoring is enabled and user authentication streamlined with SSO.
David Padmore, director of accessibility at ITV, said, “We chose OOONA because the team really understands our access services and localisation workflows, and the platform supports these off the shelf.
“What’s more, the OOONA platform enables us to make good use of AI and automation developments within a secure environment as we seek to streamline our production processes.”
“We are proud to partner with ITV for their localisation and accessibility needs,” added Wayne Garb, OOONA co-founder and CEO. “Their decision to adopt OOONA Integrated strongly affirms the value our platform brings to major content producers striving for operational efficiency in quickly delivering world-class content at high quality standards, in any language or format.”
