Production company TVN Live Production is pushing itself to the limits over the coming week as it produces live football content from five different European locations in 10 days.
Six outside broadcast vans and several SNG vans are being deployed for the mammoth task.
Last night the company was in Seville working on the UEFA Europe League final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers.
Following Seville, TVN will be in Berlin for the DFB-Pokal final on 21st May; in Tirana, Albania for the UEFA Europa Conference on 25th May; and both Paris and Cologne on 28th May for the UEFA Champions League and Women’s DFB-Pokal finals respectively.
“At the UEFA Champions League final in Paris, we [have] three OB vans to realise the interviews and studio broadcasts for three rights holders from the German-speaking region in parallel,” said TVN head of sales Bastian Berlin. “In addition, we are creating several feeds with virtual advertising for rights holders in Asia and America in UHD-HDR at the Stade de France.”
TVN Live Production managing director Markus Osthaus added: “[This is] a really great workload that we can handle due to our increased technical and personnel capabilities. When the level of performance is as ambitious as in European football, our high production standards are of particular benefit to us.”
