Ross Video is expanding its camera offering with the acquisition of the EagleEye aerial camera system from sec.swiss (swiss electronic creation GmbH).
In addition to Ross Video’s Spidercam rental offering, customers will now be able to purchase systems for fixed installations, studios, and venues, said the company.

According to Ross Video, the acquisition aligns with its Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) of achieving $1 billion in revenue by 2030, and underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and customer-focused growth.
“Cable cameras really bring the audience into the event with camera angles, shots and motion you just can’t achieve in any other way,” said Ross Video CEO David Ross. “Now having EagleEye as part of our portfolio, Ross will be able to offer this creative option to an even broader range of clients.”
David Rhyner, co-founder and CEO of sec.swiss added: “The acquisition of EagleEye by Ross Video is a proud moment for us at sec.swiss. It’s not just a transaction; it’s a testament to the strength of our technology and the shared vision of pushing boundaries in live video production.”
“With Ross Video’s strong track record of innovation and customer focus, we’re confident that the EagleEye system will continue to set new standards for cable camera solutions worldwide.”
