EVS and Qvest have announced a strategic partnership.
Building on an existing relationship formed over several years of cooperation, the new agreement aims to define a framework to support the launch of EVS’s Flexible Control Room (FCR) solution.
Launched at IBC alongside EVS’s modular user interface, Tactiq, FCR is designed to enable to the replacement of hardware-based control room setups with scalable, software-defined workspaces. The solution provides production teams with the ability to dynamically adapt to evolving requirements, driving collaboration across roles, locations and formats for both live or on-demand content.
Implementing a structured change management approach to each deployment, Qvest will conduct an assessment of users’ operational environments, mapping key stakeholders, and ensuring all parties are aligned throughout the transformation programme. Bespoke training will be provided along with ongoing monitoring and support.
Nicolas Bourdon, CCO at EVS, commented, “With FCR, we’re helping our customers rethink how production control rooms should work in a modern, multi-platform world. We are glad to collaborate with Qvest, a forward-thinking systems integrator with extensive experience in handling complex projects. This partnership will provide our customers with top-tier expertise, not only in deploying the technology, but also in supporting their internal evolution to fully leverage FCR’s flexibility.”
Thomas Müller, CTO at Qvest, added, “We are pleased to strengthen our partnership with EVS through the rollout of FCR. By combining our deep expertise in systems integration with consultancy in broadcast transformation and change management, we are uniquely positioned to help broadcasters transition smoothly toward flexible, modernised, and software-defined operations.”
