Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) has opened a call for participants in its Framing the Future training programme.

The training and development programme is designed to increase the number of women in technical broadcast roles, particularly as camera operators, by offering a clear pathway from foundational skills to real-world experience at the Olympic Games, said OBS.
It also aims to provide participants with the skills needed to work as camera operators during the Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina next year.
“As OBS relies heavily on camera operators for shooting post-competition interviews with athletes, this initiative represents a significant step towards increasing the number of female camera operators at the Games,” said the organisation.
The training programme will take place in Milan ovet three days and includes theory and practical sessions.
The dates are 16th-18th June or 19th-21st June 2025.
