Grass Valley has revealed details of Greece’s first 4K UHD OB truck.
Owned by Live Productions and operated by View Master Events, the truck has already been deployed both within Greece and internationally.
It includes 12 Grass Valley LDX 98 cameras, which support native 4K UHD capture with wide colour gamut compliance with ITU-R BT.2020 standards, enabling operations across 1.5G, 3G and 12G workflows. Featuring 3X and 6X super slow-motion options along with simultaneous live and high-speed outputs, the truck can be quickly adapted to meet a range of broadcast environments, aiming to reduce operational complexity and boost productivity.

The cameras’ adaptability simplifies setup and operation under tight production timelines, which is crucial in a live OB environment.”
Design and integration were carried out by Telmaco S.A., Grass Valley’s partner in Greece.
